Kyle Gubernator

Kyle Gubernator is the Owner and Broker of Gubernator Land Company. Rural land has been both his passion and career. A native Texan, Kyle is not only a licensed Texas Broker, but he is a Texas Certified General Appraiser who understands value and how to help Buyers and Sellers achieve their goals. As a Real Estate and Farm & Ranch Asset Manager with over two decades in this role, Kyle has acted on behalf of Sellers and Buyers in hundreds of transactions.

While he enjoys an impressive technical and professional education, Kyle was raised in a firmly blue-collar family where being an early riser and hard worker were more needed and admired than education. As such, it comes as no surprise that his early career included him learning a vocation and he spent several years working as a welder in West Texas and Southeast New Mexico for an oil company. This was his first exposure to the outcome of negotiations between landowners and oil companies, and through working as a Ranch Asset Manager, Kyle has spent the past two decades negotiating, overseeing document preparation, and executing numerous easement and right-of-way agreements, geophysical exploration permits, and surface use agreements associated with oil and gas exploration and production. His single-minded desire in each opportunity is to “both get it right and do the right thing”.

Kyle has over 20-years experience negotiating and advising on Hunting and Grazing Leases, and as an Asset Manager he has provided grazing and hunting tenant oversight, completed special use valuation applications for agriculture and wildlife, engaged contractors and overseen the construction of ranch roads, fencing, stock tanks, water wells, and brush control. Kyle has been a life-long hunter and has a passion for wildlife. He knows that hunting bonds us to nature, our family and our friends. It renews us after a long week of work, provides an outlet for our stresses and distractions, and stirs the memories of shared moments. The outdoors and hunting have been a consistent gift and teacher during his lifetime, and he understands that this is where many of us learned practical life lessons like changing a flat tire, starting a fire and where hard work comes in greater quantities for kids. It is with this in mind that Kyle has developed a sought-after expertise in advising on hunting and deer management.
